This isn't the first time Future and Lil Uzi have collaborated, but it's nice to see two artists who both released big albums in 2020 team up away from individual projects. These two tracks were released as separate singles each with their own cover art. The rappers line up bars about the typical rapper lifestyle: women, drugs, money, and violence. The instrumentals, like the lyrics, are rather unexciting and in the vein of most trap songs. It is interesting how the two rappers styles are both present in these tracks: Future's big bass and strong trap drums are paired alongside Uzi's sci-fi eighth-note synths. Both bring a lot of energy and steady flows. "Over Your Head" has Future singing an Uzi hook while "Patek" is the vice-versa, although Uzi is in familiar territory while rapping about the luxury watches considering his 2018 single "New Patek." I think "Patek" is better simply because the flow is a little quicker and a little less sing-song, and let's be honest, neither Pluto or Baby Pluto are winning any awards for their voices. I also enjoyed the two trading verses at the top of the song.

These tracks are exactly what I expected from these two chart-toppers. Nothing ground-breaking or overly creative, but fun songs to nod your head to.
