Pretty. That's how I would describe Jaden's recent single that dropped last week, and I would say the '70s inspired music video shares the word. I am a big fan of Jaden, and this track falls under what he does best: summertime vibes. The song is a self-proclaimed "quarantine love song" as per Apple Music, and it does a great job describing what it's like to want love while distancing keeps everyone apart. The lyrics are dreaming and full of assonance and rhyme, although I struggle to understand why he would include anything remotely close to "marshmallow pies" in a chorus. Very psychedelic and dreamy. The instrumentals are light, with a simple drums track and a minimalist guitar line accompanied by vocals. The music video is worth a watch too. In the end, this song instantly went on my summer playlist and definitely has replay value, though it's nothing special.
