The debut single of Jersey-based rap trio The $tepbros, they make their point loud and clear: this isn't serious. It sounds as if The Beastie Boys were inspired by Dababy, hated themselves, and also wanted fourteen musical genres in a track. Still, the trio managed to get an entire eight monthly listeners just from this song. The lyrics are perfectly over the top, riding the fine line between parody and offensiveness. The instrumentals are really something not seen in the rap/trap genre. The common motif of the song is a simple rhythmic melody played on an erhu, an instrument of Chinese origin. The instrumentals also include everything else in music, from dance synths to a cowbell to a funky bass. The refrain of the song is when all three members come together to sing the song's title, and they let it last punishingly long and even into the bridge.

This song is ridiculous, and it's hilarious. The little samples of video mixed in are interesting and I actually really enjoy the aforementioned funky bass-line towards the end of the track. The chorus needs a lot of work, and the mixing and recording quality is in dire need of professional help. Otherwise, this song is filled with funny verses and sounds worthy of a listen for its sheer outrageousness. Will we see a full The $tepbros album?
